The Examination committee is constituted to conduct the in-house examinations which include internals, SEC, AECC and practical exam for B Com, BSc Physical and Life Sciences, BBA and MSC students of the college.
All Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses follow semester pattern with respect to Teaching and Evaluation process. The Academic year is divided into Two Semesters. Each Semester has two Internal Examinations and End-Semester Examination.
Core Course: To be compulsorily studied by a student as a core requirement to complete the requirement of a programme in a said discipline of study.
Elective Course: is a course which can be chosen from a pool of papers
1. Generic Elective: Unrelated discipline/subject
2. Discipline centric: Main discipline/subject
Ability Enhancement Course
1. Ability enhancement Compulsory Course: For Knowledge enhancement(mandatory)
2. Skill Enhancement Courses: value-based and skill-based SEC papers Max Marks:50 (Int:10 ESE:40) only one internal will be conductcted.
(i) Minimum 40% is Pass Mark
(ii) SGPA Shown in Semester Grade Report (No SGPA if fail in any one of the paper)
(iii) CGPA is awarded after passing in all 6 semester papers
(iv) SEC Grade will be Included in SGPA & CGPA
(v) No Part I & Part II Separation in final Results
(vi) Only Grades & Credits indicated in the Grade Report

Examination system has two components – Internal Assessment (IA) & End Semester Assessment (SA).
Theory Papers:
Total Marks: 100 (20 for IA and 80 for SA)
Practical papers:
Total Marks: 100 (15 for IA and 50 for SA + 35 p) For B.Com / BBA
Total Marks: 50 For B.Sc
Continuous Internal Assessment (CIA)
a. Theory Papers
1. Internal – I Examination – 20 marks
2. Internal – II Examination – 20 marks
3. Skilled Based Test (SBT) – 10 marks
Total: (Internal – I + Internal – II) / 2 + SBT = 50 marks
Note: No Re-Examination will be conducted if the student is absent for internals.
End Semester Assessment (ESA)
a. Theory Papers
1. Written Examination for each subject is conducted for 80 marks with duration of 3 hours.
2. Students have to secure a minimum of 32 marks (40%) out of 80 in End Semester Examination and a total of 40(CIA+ESA) marks out of 100 marks to pass in every subject.
b. Practical Papers
1. Practical Examination for each subject is conducted for 50 marks with duration of 2 Hours for B.Com / BBA and 3 Hours for B.Sc
2. Students have to secure a minimum of 20 marks (40%) out of 50 in End Semester Practical Examination.

Note: If the student has not submitted the examination application for the semester examinations due to any reason he/she has to repeat the semester or detained.
